Mr; .and Mrs. Wallace Hurd and family were in Logan last Wednesday. They were the din-o- f Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Stephens. The occasion was to honor Mr. Stephens and Mr. Hurd on their birthday. Pamela Yost was hostess to some of her friends Thursday evening at her home. The evening was spent making Christmas gifts. , Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Anderson were in Malad on Satur day night 6f last week. Birthday Party Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence And. erson were in Logan on Wednesday of last week to attend a birthday party in honor of Mrs. Ida Anderson's 84th Birthday. Mrs. Anderson is Mrs. Grace Anderson's mother. Mrs. Naomi Garbanati and Mrs. Clara Neal of Tremonton were in Logan on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith of Logan spent the holiday weekend at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Arbon. Mrs. Edith Yost was hostess to members of the Cup and Saucer Club held at her home with A Joan Heyder as delicious chicken dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Soren-sowere dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kenner in Tremonton, Thanksgiving day. Sailor Visits Omar Anderson came home from Port Heuneme, Calif., to spend two weeks. He will return to San Diege where he is assigned to sea duty. Omar has spent three years with the U.S. Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Arbon spent Thanksgiving day in Tooele, Utah with Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Smith and family. Mr. and Mrs. DeLamar Cutler and Patsy were in Elko to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Larsen and family. Carnille came to Elko from Reno to visit her parent. Rosann returned home with her ' folks after having been employed at Elko for the past few months. Mr. and Mrs. Bealy Cutler returned home after visiting with the Earl Hegleps in Elko, Nev., and the Harvey Ta loots in St. George, Utah. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. D..G. Nelson Jr. entertained at a family dinner at their home. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Two missionaries who escaped without injury from a mob attack fifty years ago will be in Tremonton Saturday to meet with the Westmoreland family, with whose parents they stayed at the time of the trouble.
