October THE LEADER, Tremonton, Utah 9 21. 1954 LaVor Williams of Ingle-wooCalif., visited Friday-nigh- t and Saturday with his and daughter, Mr. Mrs. and Henry Roderick and and Mrs. Vernell Mr. family. and uncle of aunt Vanderhoff, Mrs. Roderick of Oregon visited with them Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Oran Parkinson visited Sunday in Logan with Mr., and Mrs. Rulon Wright. Mr. Wright is very ill. Home From California Mrs. Gibbs Allen returned home Saturday from Los Angeles, where she visited for the d, by Mrs. Vlrfil C. Harris TRAVELLERS INJURED IN OHIO AUTO CRASH RETURNING FROM TRIP Word has been received by Bishop Walter E. Gibbs and Mrs. John F. Conley of injuries received by their sister, Vera Hall, her daughter, Irene and their brother, Arthur Gibbs when their car went out of control on the highway about sixty miles from Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Hall is suffering with a neck injury and is being treated at a hospital in Covington, Ky. Irene, who received bruises and Mr Gibbs who hasseveral broken ribs, are staying with Captain and Mrs. H. Byron Hall in Dayton. The three were returning home after spending two weeks with Captain and Mrs. Hall and Mr. Gibbs had attended the world series at Cleveland. She also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Moyle Knudsen and family at El Monte and with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bennett of Hawthorne. She attended many of the television shows in Hoi. lywood and reports a very pleasant trip. Mr. and Mrs. John F. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Udy of Smithfield were weekend guests of Mrs. Udy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Allen. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen and family of Centerville spent Sunday with them. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Gibbs and son Randy of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Nielsen of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Mike Wake, ly and children of Downey, Ida., visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John W. Knudsen. Mrs. Mary A. Castleton and daughter, Tamara of Ogden spent the weekend with Mrs. Castleton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Allen. Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Hoskins were In Salt Lake City Friday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hoggan and daughters of Roy, Ut., visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Oran Parkinson. DeVon Price of Ogden spent the weekend here with his daughter, Jeanette and with his Mr. and Mrs. Ora H. John. Mr. and Mrs. Royal Halford returned home Sunday from Burley, Ida., where they spent several days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Halford. Miss Carole Ann Gibbs who is employed in Salt Lake City spent the weekend at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will, iam L. Gibbs. Mrs. JohnW. Knudsen, Mrs. John F. Conley, Mrs. A. T. Hall and Mrs. Cora McCrary attended the funeral service for Mrs. Nettle Wakley at Downey Ida., last week. Beck, a former resident of Tremonton, has recently been appointed assistant of Grayson Controls Los Angeles for in Division Robertshaw-Fulto- n Controls Company. Beck moves into the new post from the sales manager position with the company. He was born in Tremonton, a son of Caroline and the late Chris Beck. After graduating from Bear River High School in 1932, he attended Utah State Agricultural College and the University of Utah. .
