The program consist ed of two musical numbers by Patsy Mann of Tremonton. Mrs Erma Cam favored with a read ing. The remainder of the after. noon was spent In playing games with prizes given away. The new officers in charge for the coming year are President, Etta Rudd; Vice President, Theresa Coombs; Secretary, Eva Burns; Corresponding Secretary, Effie Potter; Music Director, Blanche Hansen; Parlimentarian, Bertha Smith; Historian, Millie Welling. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cannon were Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Krause and daughter, JaNae, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Keyser and small son of Salt Lake City Phill Mason of Salt Lake City was visiting with relatives and friends here last week. Mrs. J. W. Earl of Logan with Mrs. Elmo Munson and family Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Oris Rudd and two daughters Judy and Janet of Monticello have been spending a week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Rudd. The two girls remained with their grandparents while Mr. and Mrs. Rudd attended a National County Agent Convention held at Salt Lake City the forepart of the week. Mrs. Eloise Lessee returned to her home at Ogden Sunday after having spent a week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Mason and family. Lola Coombs and Roma Jean Bourne. Seven ladies who had had a perfect attendance record for the past year were presented with nice gifts. They were Edith Udy, LaPriel Secrist, Rhoda Welling, Letha Petersen, Madge Anderson, Gwen Burnett and Nina Owen. During the evening Miss Elaine Adams favored with guitar selections. A lovely dinner was served to thirty mem-eand guests. Hostesses were LaPriel Secrist, Margie Skinner, Barbara Udy and Edith Udy. The next meeting will be held at the Church Building, along with the Social Development Club on October 21st when Tracy Welling of Salt Lake City will be the guest speaker. Glen Welling of Ogden visit ed with relatives here Saturday. Mrs. Wayne Secrist and family spent Wednesday and Thursday visiting with relatives at Ogden. Gail Anger and Leroy Hemingway of Salt Lake City spent the weekend at the Ernest Anger home. Mrs. Edith Udy and Mrs. June Bowcutt spent Wednesday and Thursday at Salt Lake City. Orson Godfrey, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Godfrey and sons Gary and Tony of Lehi spent Sunday visiting with Mrs. Eliza Godfrey and Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Max Fryer of Ogden announce the arrival of a baby girl Friday October 8th at the Cooley Hospiital at Brig-haMrs. Fryer is the former, Miss Claralynn Allred, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Allred former residents of Fielding. Mrs. Carmen Richardson and son Brent of Salt Lake City is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Farnsworth this week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Willie of Malad were callers at the John E. Coombs home Sunday. Mr Willie was the District Presid ent when Dale Coombs was ser ving on his mission. Petersen made a business trip to Logan Tuesday. They enjoyed an autumn ride through the canyon to return by way cf Brigham- where they visited with Mrs. Fred W. Petersen and son. It was Eva Petersen's first time to see her newest great grandson. They also visited in Corinne with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rader. Patient Improves Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Holt and family are enjoying the visit this week of a neice and cousin, Gloria Whitney, Ogden. Gloria's -- Mr. and Mrs. Engvar Petersen vacation enjoyed a three-d- a and Nevada last Idho touring weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Marcell Palmer and family of Salt Lake City visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Smith. The ladies are sisters. Miss Joan Jensen was home from the B.Y.U. for the weekend. Calderwood of Tre- n Thursday mother, Mrs. Robert Whitney is still in an iron lung where it is said that she is improving from a bad case of Polio. Mrs. Josephine Nelson spent last weekend with her daughter, Mrs. Beorge Hewlett and family of Clearfield. They attended conference in Salt Lake City on Saturday.
