Margaret Woodside reviewed the book, "North of Malaya" by William O. Douglas. Ten ladies were present to enjoy the review. A dessert lunch was served, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne attended the open house at Hill Air Base Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. T J. Udy spent the weekend in Salt Lake City with relatives. Dessie Campbell of the Sunday School Stake Board attended our Sunday School Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. LaVoy Udy and boys spent Sunday at Bear Lake. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Odell Thompson and children spent 'Sunday in Salt Lake City as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Burl Hermansen Mr. and Mrs. Earl Adams and with their daughter and family, Mr. son spent Sunday afternoon and Mrs. Dale Udy. Family Friends Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Steck of Roy spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Udy. The Stecks and Mrs. Udy lived in Colton, Utah a number of years ago and become fast friends. They have a son on a mission in Australia and is laboring in Adelaide where Valeea Crowther labored for 6 months. Mr- and Mrs. Ray Udy and children and Mr. and Mrs. Elvis Johnson and son spent Sunday afternoon in Clarkston. Paul Capener son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Capener is spending a few days with his parents. The dairy products judging team which won second place included Dale Woodruff, Ronald Firth and Bernard Hill, with Wayne Summers as alternate. Ronald Firth ranked third among all contestants 5th Place The fifth place livestock judging team is composed of Edward Tsutsui, Carl Roberts and Ronald Firth, with Charles Larson as alternate member. Winning seventh place in poultry judging were Ray Knud-soLarry Rhodes and Reed Petersen. The dairy judging team, consisting of Haws Marble, Duane Hunsaker and Norman Rud'd, won eleventh place of 45 teams.
