Show . Thursday. April The LEADER. 15. 1954 DOROTHY W1LSOS AXD DEE RAMSDELL TAKE MARRIAGE VOWS ' - Miss Dorothy Wilson became the bride of Mr. Dee L. Rams-de- ll in an early spring wedding at the Tremonton First "Ward Relief Society room March 26th. Bishop L. E. Cowley of the First Ward officiated at the ceremony in the Dresence of members of the two families and the wedding party. For the occasion, the bride wore a lovely floor length gown of white satin, with a lace bodice and three quarter length skirt, which hung in graceful scallops over a tier of five net ruffles. The front was trimmed with tiny covered buttons and the sleeves were pointed at th wrists. Her elbow lenrth veil was fasnioned of rull'cd not in a half bonnet. She carried bouquet of pink roses and pini and white satin ribbon. Attending the bride were Miss Lois Morris as maid of honor, and the Misses Ru'.h Rytting, Delsa Kirby and Karen Ram? dell ds bridesmaids, flower girls were Vickkie Lee Wilson and Kathleen Ann Munson. The duties of best man tor the groom were performed by Pratt Holmgren. The newlyweds were honored at a reception after the wedding, with Shirlee Wilson, Ramona Fisher and Sandra Whitney caring for the gifts, Mrs. Ken Anderson and Mrs. Theo Whitney in the gift room and Mrs. Dorlyn RamsdeU at the guest book. A beautiful four tier wedding cake served as center of the decorations. Refreshments were served by Coy Smith, Carol Lee Thorpe, Janet Shaw and Diane Coombs. The bride is a graduate of Bear River high school and attended Brigham Young University, She is presently employed at the Valley Hospital. , Mr. Ramsdell has served with the armed forces, and spent seventeen months in Germany. He has attended Utah State Agricultural College, and Is at present employed by the Utah-Idah- o Sugar Company. V k X f A - TENDER SMOKED 5. Junior Classmen Win Track Meet For Second Year Junior Class thinclads capturtrack meet ed the Inter-Claat Bear River high school last Friday, winning the event for the second straight year. Last years' sophomores piled up a total of 51 points, edging out the Seniors, who placed second with 47. Sophomores scored 30, and the freshmen totalled only 3 Ms points. J. H. Silvester took three first places, in the discus, shot put, and javelin. His discus throw was 146 feet one inch, five feet over the Region record. Olean Vanderhoof took first place in the 100 yard dash, 180 yard dash, and tied for first in the high jump. The meeting was held at the home of Violet Burgess. Hazel Ransom and Virginia Young were also guests of the club. Tasty refreshments were served by the hostess.
