The M.I.A Stake play entitled "Its All In Your Head," a mystery comedy was presented at Hall the Ward Recreational Thursday evening. The play was under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Law of Garland, and was throughly enjoyed by all those present. Other wards attending were Plymouth, East Garland and Riverside. Following the play Ralph Baird showed movin ies of Utah and California technicolor which were also greatly enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Miss Bessie Hansen of Brigham gave helpful hints on '"Interior Decorating." Marlene Forsberg of Riverside favored with two readings. Luncheon was served to about twenty eight members and guests. Mrs. Nan Earl of Mendon was a special guest. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holt last week were Mrs. Mae Upton and Al Speria of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Irene Peck and daughter Careen, left Thursday morning with the A Cappella choir for Chicago, to attend a Musical Convention. Careen is a member of the choir. Mrs. Peck is going as a chaperone. Mrs. Eliza Godfrey returned to her home Saturday evening after having spent the past four weeks at the Valley Hospital receiving medical care. Enjoy Florida Vacation - Mr. and Mrs. Dan Garn have returned home, reporting a very pleasant two months vacation in St Petersburg, Florida and other eastern cities Most of the time was spent with their daughter, Mrs. James English and family at St. Petersburg. A week's trip to Miami and Key West was of interest, and a week spent in Washington D C. in company with Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Garn of Provo, who joined them there for the trip was a highlight. Attends Eastern Wedding Mrs. M. A. Garn returned home Tuesday from a plane trip to Stanford, Connecticut to attend the wedding of her son John Coates.
