Phone 5001, Tremonton. tic Graziers Election Set February 5th An election is to tx held in the Bureau of Land Management office at the County Coun House in Brigham City, I'tah on Friday, February 5. 1954 to elect members to the Promontory Grazing District Advisory Board to fill the positions of members whose terms have expired recently. Nominations for the various positions are scheduled to be conducted at 1.00 p. m. and balloting will insue from 2:00 to 5:00 p. m. Members of the Advisory-Boarwhose terms have expired are: G. Lester Carson, Sheep Representative, Precinct No. 1; Lawrence B. Johnson, Sheep Representative, Precinct No. 4; Benjamin Weston, Cattle Representative, Precinct No. 4; and Leo McKinnon. Cattle Representative, Precinct No. 5 These men have served on the local Advisory Board for a term of the past three years. The function of the District Advisory Board is to make recommendations and advise administrative officers of the Bureau of Land Management concerning the administration and management of the grazing resources of the Federal range. Among their functions is to advise concerning qualified applicants for grazing priviliges on the public range. The range manager at Brig ham City urges that all grazing permittees now using the Feder al range in the Promontory District be in attendance and express their desires by casting a ballot for the representative to be elected.
