In the group were the father of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Westmoreland, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Westmoreland of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Westmoreland and Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Westmoreland of Realto, California, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Ross of Corinne, Mrs. Bernard Brown of Twin Falls, Mrs. Calvin Kay and Ardela Peck, relatives of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Woodward of Kamas, two brothers and a of the groom were also present for the occasion. For her wedding, the bride wore a gown of white satin, with a veil to match. After the ceremony, refreshments were served to all those present. Wedding Bells For Shirley Westmoreland Westmoreland Miss Shirley became the bride of Herman Woodward of Kaunas, Utah, on September 12th. The marriage was performed at the home of the bride's uncle. Janie on her eleventh birthday. Games were played and luncheon was served, after which the girls all went to F. a movie. Literary Club : Season's Meetings J"he Tremonton-Garlan- Liter- d ary club have held their first two meetings of the new Club year. At the first meeting. Miss Vesta Ferry was the hostess to the group at her home in Corinne. The new officers of the Club were installed at the meeting. They are Mrs. Louise Day. president; Mrs. Francessa Summers, vice president; Mrs. Mae Dalton, historian. The programs as arranged by the Book Committee, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Marguerite Rich, were presented, and then approved by the members. A financial report was given by Mrs. Inez Brown. Mrs. Louise Day then reviewed the book, "Oh, Rugged Land", written by Martha Martin. Miss Ferry served dessert to the seventeen members present and her mother. The second club meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Rosa Hunsaker.
