Valley Couple Are Wed A recent marriage of interest to the people of the Bear River Valley was that of Miss Beverly Cannon and Lynn H. Petersen. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Iva Cannon of Fielding and the late Clifford Cannon. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Leland H. Petersen. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple by President George Raymond, and a wedding breakfast was held at the Eccles Hotel after the ceremony. The newlyweds were honored the same evening at a reception and dance in the Fielding ward hall. In the receiving line with e them and their parents were a sister, Gayle Cannon as maid of honor, and Miss Nancy Gam as bridesmaid. Mr. Burke Petersen was best man for hi9 brother. The New Mrs. Petersen was lovely in a gown of white brocaded satin, fashioned with a full pleated skirt, dainty Peter Pan collar and long fitted sleeves, pointed at the wrists. Her fingertip veil of bride's illusion hung from a t;ara of orange blossoms. She carried a bride's bouquet of split carnations and sweet peas centered with a corsage of baby orchids. During the evening, a program was presented with Rolfe Kerr as Master of Ceremonies.
