On Tuesday, Mrs. Perry and daughter Marcia accom panied Mrs. Hess and Sgt. Hess to Salt Lake City, where they visited with Mrs. Alex Hales. HOLD ANNUAL PARTY The annual party for the husbands was held Saturday evening by the members of the Birthday Club, at the new Giles Cafe in Garland. A delicious dinner was served at a long table with Spring flowers as decorations. A splendid program was given and the evening was finished with playing of Bingo. All but three members attended. William Linford of the Sunday Schol stake board was a visitor in Sunday School Sunday morning. Members of the Ed Udy family went to Tremonton Sunday to honor La Vere Udy on his birthday at the Udy home. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Udy and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Kennard went to Salt Lake City Sunday. They attended the funeral services for a brother-in-laof Mrs. Udy and Mr. Kennard, Silas H. Bigelow, held Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Bowcutt and daughters of Ogden visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bowcutt, and other relatives Saturday and Sunday. The Misses Carol and Joyce Campbell, sisters of Mrs. Afton Welling, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Don Welling and family. The lesson was ably given by William Linford of the stake board. He stressed the necessity for each one of us having a means of cataloging and using ideas and articles of value in our teaching and when called upon for talks. Mrs. Clair Lundberg and boys of Logan visited Mrs. Lundberg's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hales, Tuesday. Mrs. Sharon Richins and children of Ogden visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hales the first part of the week. Mrs. Mina Ward returned home from visiting in Idaho for a week. The Relief Society work meeting was held Tuesday in the Relief Society room.
