V a r g e Christensen Clyde Christenscn and Va Nyle Arbon, Tamara Ewer, Tremonton, gave a reading; and Lish and Dale Quenton entertained with a vocal duet, followed by a modern dance by Chcrie Johnson and Julia Whitney of Brig-haCity, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Johnson. The newlyweds are making their home at 111 South First East, Brigham City. The new Mrs. Jones will graduate from Bear River High school this spring. Mr. Jones is a wells, Nevada high school graduate. Johnson Vernon Bishop the Bear River L.D.S. ward per- formed the ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Huggins, parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde T. Jones of Brigham City. For her wedding the bride chose a ballerina gown of lace over taffeta. The bodice of nylon was topped with an embroidered lace cape. A rounded crown of crushed carnations caught her nylon fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of red rosebuds and Stephanotis. Mrs. Robert Anderson gowned in blue nylon net was matron of honor. In gowns of blue and yellow were the bridesmaids, Marilyn Huggins. Don Nell and Diana Iverson. They all carried nosegays of spring flowers to compliment their dresses. Duties of the best man were performed by John Gabel. Both Mrs. Huggins and Mrs. Jones chose navy blue dresses. 7ach pinned a pink carnation corsafe at her shoulder. Those in charge of the gifts at the reception which followed were Mrs. Claire Huggins, Mrs. Chester Christenscn, Mrs. y Holland and Mrs. LeRoy Stenquist. Jenae Stenquist. was at the guest book. Twenty one members and two guests, Mrs. Ludcne Benson and Mrs. Mary Larsen were present. The lesson "Wheels of Pioneer Progress", was ably given by Daughter Elmira Heppler. Light refreshments were served by the hostess. of Utah Bear River City Andrea Huggins DUP MEETING HELD Daughter of Utah Pioneers held their monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Amelia Burt. Mable H. Strong read a life sketch of her mother, Mrs. Mary J. Holmgren. Mrs. Gertrude J. Iverson gave the lesson, "Pioneer Fences", which was enjoyed very much by the group. Mrs. Seretta Johnson. Mrs. Janet Jensen and Mrs. Amelia Burt served a delicious lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Andersen spent Sunday in Salt Lake City visiting her mother, Mrs- Emma Jensen, who is quite ill. Mrs. Ethel Taylor and daughter Lucille Winnergren are vacationing in California. Mr. and Mrs. McGavin of Lay-to- n were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Iverson Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Jensen were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jones in Hooper Sunday. LaVere Udy Miss La Nette Thomas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thomas, became the bride of J. La Vere Udy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Udy of Riverside, in a double ring ceremony, performed March 10th at the home of the groom's parents in Riverside. Bishop Reese B. Mason performed tile ceremony in the presence of the two immediate families. The bride was given in marriage by her father. After the wedding supper the couple left for a short honeymoon trip. A wedding reception and dance honoring the couple was held March 18th in the Tremonton Second ward hall. For her wedding the bride chose a ballerina length gown of nylon and lace over taffeta. The pointed .yoke of net was outlined in scalloped lace, which extended into the short cap collar of sleeves. A stand-umatching lace trimmed the neck She wore elbow length armlets, which came to points over her wrists. A tiara of seed pearls and lace held the fingertip veil, and she carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations. Rowane Westergard, sister of the bride was matron of honor, and Linda Marble, Juanite Nelson, Betty Anderson and OUie Lou Andersen were bridesmaids. Richard Udy was best man for the groom. The newlyweds are both former students of Bear River high school. They are making their home in Tremonton. long which was decorated in the spring motif.
