Elaine Kirby rated superior in the retold story division, while Gene Condie received a rating of excellent in pantomime. In radio speaking Lorna Mason rated an honorable mention as did Karen Johnson in dramatic reading and Lavere Adams in humorous reading. Pantomime ratings gave Karl Hess, Gloria Gay and Donna Peterson all honorable mention. In the retold story, Gay Waldron also received a similar rating." Bear River's one act drama "Road in the Sun," also com peted for honors. In the cast were Gae Lene Harris, Lee Dal ton, LaVere Adams, Elaine Kir by and Marian Linford. Student director was Bonnie Turner. The entire group was trained for the state meet by Milton Johnson, speech and drama in structor, and qualified for the Provo finals by winning honors in regional competion. THOMAS POTTER HAS SECOND OPERATION Thomas. Potter, 84, who was a ma month a jor operation performed ago, had to undergo a second operation this week. Larsen Dairy Receives USAC Quality Award users are asTremonton milk sured of quality from the Cres-ce- n Dairy since the results of the Dairy Course held this week at the Utah State Agricultural College have been made known. A gold medal certificate and rating of 95.3 was awarded the local business on samples of milk picked up at the Crescent Dairy and entered in the analysis at the course in Logan. Last year's rating for the concern was 94.6, showing an improvement in the quality since last year. They also received a Silver Med al last year. Elmer E.
