Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ogden and children of Salt Lake are spending the Christmas holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jensen. Valeea Crowther of Salt Lake arrived Monday and Gordon Crowther came early Christmas morning to spend the holiday with their mother, Mrs. Ed TJdy. It is the first Christmas in eight years that Gordon and Valeea have been together. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Coombs of Garland and their daughter, Maxine Bums, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Coombs of Fielding and Mrs. Sadie Johnson of California had Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ward Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Udy and son Fred of Huntsville visited with relatives Christmas Day. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lundberg and boys of Logan visited Mrs. Lundberg's parents, Mr. and Earl Hales Christmas Day. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Udy and family spent Christmas in Logan with Mrs. Udy's mother, Mrs. Orson Bailey and members of the family. The MIA sponsored a dance for the married people of the ward Saturday evening. A good crowd attended. A pot - luck lunch was a popular feature of the evening. Mrs. Steve Hales of Tremonton entertained in honor of Steve's birthday Saturday evening at which Mr. and Mrs. Ira Ward and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ward were guests. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Forsberg, Mr. and Mrs. George Forsberg and Mr. and Mrs. V. D. Bowcutt attended the Forsberg family dinner aet the home of Gus Forsberg in Garland. All members of the family were present except three. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne and Diane spent Tuesday and Wednesday at Layton with their daughter, Mrs. Ray Phillips and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Phillips of Layton are spending the new year vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bourne. Mr. Phillips expects to go rabbit hunting Monday with men from the Valley. Paul Forsberg accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Al Bowcutt home on Saturday when they came far the Forsberg family dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Udy attended the Social Hour Club party Saturday evening at the home of Roy Manning in Garland. Gifts were exchanged. A very pleasant time was had. spent a day visiting in Plymouth with relatives. High school students are Monte Tanner, Mary Kay Hoggan, Dennis Kimber, Billy and Gordon Tanner and Joan Kimber. Mr. and Mrs. Streator Tingey were Xmas guests of their daughter, Mrs. Douglas Richins. Mary Kay Hoggan entertained a group of friends at a New Years Eve party at her home. A large crowd attended to enjoy playing games and eating refreshments. Co-rln- Curtis Andreason has been home from Fort Lewis, Washington for the holidays. He will return Friday. Sunday a birthday dinner was held at the Golden Andreason home. The guest of honor was Mrs. Andreason and the whole family was there to honor their mother. A special guest was Ter-rBown of Milford. Terryl and Golden were buddies in the last war and have not seen each other since they returned home, until Sunday. Visiting the Andreasons New Tears Day were Mr. and Mrs. Malmberg of Clarkston. Overnight guests Sunday at the Dwain Romer home were Mr. and Mrs. L C. Chadwick of Salt Lake City. The ladies are sisters. Spending the Christmas holiday at the Ray Tanner home were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lucas of Ogden, Flora and Lewis Tanner who are working in Nevada. Mr. and Mrs.. Johnny Runyon of Pleasant Grove spent Christmas with the Joe Kimber family. On Wednesday they left for Denver to visit Johnny's parents and to locate a place for their new home. Mrs. Kimber is caring for their baby while they are gone. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Teeter and Darwin of Layton spent three days during the holidays with the Herb Tanner family. The Primary officers and teachers were entertained on Friday evening at the home of Mrs Warren Rasmussen. Cootie was played, with prizes going to Norma Tanner and Mrs. Rasmussen.
