Mr. Hawke's NEWS SCHOOL The officers and teachers of the Primary held their regular monthly teacher meeting on Thursday at the home of Mrs. Dora Cutler; Mrs. Edith Yost gave the lesson, after which the ladies enjoyed games and exchanged Christmas gifts. Refreshments were served by the hostess. Mrs. Erma Sorensen was in Salt Lake City Friday nntil Sunday visiitng friends. The Frieriria club piet at the home of Mrs. Christine Peterson Wednesday evening to honor her on her birthday. Thirteen members were present. ' The evening was spent in sewing and visiting. An apron was pre sented the honored guest. Delicious refreshments were served by Rennis Larkin, Ada Hickman, and Amanda Cutler. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Palmer and small daughter Beckey, of Salt Lake City, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sorenson. Mrs. Jay Larson and children, Stephen, Jeanne and Reggie, of Roy, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. De Lamar Cutler. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Anderson and two children, Craig and Shiree of Logan, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Anderson. Mr. and (Mrs. Harvey Talbot were able to bring their small son Jay, home from the Valley hospital Sunday, much improved at this time. Mrs. Barns, of Yost, mother of Mrs. Edith Yost, is visiting with her daughter and family this week. Christmas This season is one of the happiest ones in our school. We are all busy and looking forward to the Christmas vacation. We have decorated our room with spatter work 'scenes of shepherds and wise men. We have made bells and Santa Clauses to hang in our room. We have learned some beautiful Christmas carols also. Instead of drawing names, this year, we re going to draw numbers. On the last day of school we are going to have a party. Some of the children in our room are going to put on a program, then we are going to have a treat. SEVENTH GRADE Nov. 30 the seventh gave a dance for the grade eighth grade to return the dance they had given earlier in the season. They served punch and cookies.
