Show Thursday, May 17, 1951 THE LEASER, Tremonton, Utah A LETTER TO THE EDITOR This letter Is written In appreciation for a very pleasant visit in your community After breakfast we took a little walk during which we observed the cleanliness of the streets, homes and beautiful landscaping of the frontages. It was so refreshing after a long drive to leisurely walk around your city. We wish to congratulate the Civic Authorities and citizens for maintaining such neat and appealing atmosphere. Two in our party were members of the L. D. a faith. They suggested we attend conference. Having no definite affiliation with a religious organization I was a little hesitant. However I'm writing to thank you for this pleasure. I am a personel supervisor for a large company, having spent most of my life studying people, so I enjoyed this opportunity. As the conference progressed I noticed the conducting official called speakers without warning or notice from the audience, an almost unheard of practise in my experience. The response was startling to say the least. A Mr. Holt in his report gave one of the most remarkable lectures I have ever heard. He has an uncanny natural ability to lead his listeners until they see and feel as he does. I have spent a lifetime trying to develop that characteristic in myself and others. I was thrilled to see it unfold before my eyes in only a moments notice. I was struck with his talent of expression, poise and assurance. He not only demands your respect an attention but practically commands it. Our entire party was so enthused over his discussion it was a pleasant topic of conversation on our journey. Thank you for a very enjoyable welcome experience. We hope to come again. Respectfully A. N. Critchlow, Boise, Idaho J. L.
