She was born on April 2, 1915 to Charles Dennis and Clara Mae Crosbey White. She graduated from Beaver High School in 1932, and lived in Beaver most of,her life. She her husband, Sherman Carter, managed the Beaver p Store. She was involved in many church and other functions as she played the piano. She passed away October 15, 1981. Ual Melvin Marshall Beaver: Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Ual Melvin left this life on Marshall February 11, 2007 at age 88. He was born December 4, 1918 in Minersville, Utah to Melvin & He Druella Rollins Marshall. married Rhonda Operishaw on November 14, 1946 in Milford, Utah and were later sealed in the St George LDS Temple on June 16, 1948. Rhonda passed away on August 16, 1993. They had a good life for 47 years. They had five children and lived in American Fork, Utah. He later married Helen Robinson Williams and they were married for 13 years and lived in Beaver. Ual served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He worked on the railroad for Beaver and Utah counties and he worked in Old Home Mine. They moved north and worked at Geneva Steel where he retired after 33 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings such as ward clerk,' home teacher, scout master, regional manager at Mutual Dell and a missionary at Cove Fort with Helen. He also served in volunteer positions many throughout his life. He ioved to ride horses in the mountains, hunt and dig in the, dirt, he was a avid gardener. He enjoyed and traveling, grandchildren with time was family spending very important to him. He is survived by his wife Helen, children, Ann (Alan) Nolan Kirkman, (Shellee) Lane Marshall, (Sharon) Marshall, Claire (Jes) Scott, Laura (Daniel) Pittman, JoAnh (Orson) Blackner, Geraldene (Dale) Bettridge, Les (Bonnie) Williams, Connie (Ray) Fails .and Bruce (Gens) Williams. He has 45 grandchildren and 71 greatgrandchildren. One brother, Vance (Connie) Marshall. He was preceded in death by Sisters, Vivie Carter, Lelia Carter and Veral Marshall and a brother Clauss Marshall and one Rickie W. Agee. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 11:00AM at the Beaver LDS third ward chapel. Interment was in the American Fork Cemetery in American Fork, Utah under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.' We had a fire that could have caused us much damage, if not the total loss of our home. They responded quickly and through their efficient work they not only were abie to get the fire out, but we had minimal smoke or water, We were very damage. impressed by their training and their genuine concern and respect for our property. We have never seen a fire crew work together to. not only put the fire out, but to also preserve, as much as possible, the remaining property from the effects of their efforts!
