She married Newell Taft Marshall July 25, 1928 in South Milford, Utah - and their marriage was later solemnized in the St George LDS Temple on April 17, 1976. Newell preceded her in death on February 8, 1985. Theo enjoyed going deer She hunting with her family. was a very good seamstress and loved to quilt. She was a great cook and loved to feed her family. She was a member of the LDS Church and worked for a time as a temple worker in the St George temple. She held many positions in the Church throughout her life. She is survived by her children, Elinor & Val Beeson of Beaver, Stannie & Karl Myers of Beaver, Joe Marshall of North Platte, Nebraska, Nancy & Cliff Yardley of Mesa, Arizona, Sherrie & Bill Garrett of Minersvile and Kim & Laurie Marshall of North Platte, Nebraska. She has a daughter-in-laVie of Marshall Minersville. She has 32 grandchildren, 102 Great grandchildren, & 29 Great, great grandchildren.-. She was preceded in death by two sons, Don Lincoln & Tex Marshall. Two brothers, Mart Davis & Dan Davis and two sisters, June Pearson and Gwen Ogden. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 26, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. at the 'Minersville LDS First Ward Chapel. Girls Basketball By Mattie Yardley The Girls Basketball team started off their season with the annual Hall of Fame game against the Morgan Trojans. The game was played at Wasatch School on High November 22. The Lady Beavers were, unfortunately, defeated by the Trojans. However, they are determined to use the loss to their advantage and come out strong on Wednesday. The Beavers are excited to begin the season and are excited to start their games. Beaver: Alice Marie Gillies, 80, passed away at her home on November 25, 2004. She was born on September 27, 1S24 in Beaver, Utah to Ralph Byron & Marrietta Nowers Bohn. She married Acie Thompson Gillies June 17, 1952 in the St George LDS Temple in St George Utah. She lived her entire life in Beaver, Utah, and graduated from Beaver High School. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She worked for the Telephone Company as an operator and the Utah State Extension' Service. She was an active member of the LDS Church and serviced as a Primary President for 10 years in Beaver Third Ward. She is survived by her husband, Acle Thompson Gillies of Beaver. Two children, Blake B. Giiiies of Beaver and Chad A. (Jelene) of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild..
