Approximately 4 miles south of Beaver we were involved in a car accident. We spent the entire day dealing with problems incidental to the accident. Later that day the Interstate was closed and we were left stranded in Beaver for 3 days. The day is really obscure as England and Scotland celebrated the coming of Spring, and called it "JOWK", a synonym for "FOOL'S Prankster Day". The youngsters of today remember very well and they send their pals and loved ones on an absurd lark.
