The Beaver's ended it by amassing another 22 points, ironically the same number of points generated by the Wayne Badger's for the whole game. The final was 90 to 22. Thane Marshall 16, Chad Limb 14, Chris Branvall, 11, Paul Robinson, 10, Dave Roberts and Keith Stucki each got eight. Steve Hutch-ing- s and Del Myers got six each, Chad Blackburn made Sharon Roberts-- B.H.S. has had a very busy and exciting week. On Monday five students traveled to Panguitch to participate in the Solo Ensemble Festival. They participated in individual events and did a super job. FORENSICS TEAM Tuesday the Region meet was held at St. George. The Forensics Team went down with a lot of enthusiasm and they all did terrific. Most of them qualified to go to State. Good For-ensi- luck! Region Drill Team Thursday the Region Drill Team Competition was held here in Beaver. Ten teams participated. There were fdur different categories to enter in with each team participating in three but of the four. Beaver took first place out of the prop and dance categories and then they won the sweepstakes trophy. They get to participate in the State Drill Team Competition on April 9. We are proud of youl ROUND ROBIN Friday and Saturday was Region Basketball. Friday three. The freshman Bill Riggs gathered 14 for the Badger's. Wayne who lost most of their team due to an infraction of rules was obviously hurting replacing eight starters with freshmen, managers and score keepers. The Beaver's came on strong and scored 18 before Rickey Oyler hit one from 15 feet. The quarter ended 23 to 6 and went down hill from there. In the second quarter Beaver turned up even more running up 29 points and allowing only eight. The half ended in a 4 Beaver lead. By the end of the third quarter it was a sure thing as the Beaver's ran up another 16 and allowed only five. unable THANE MARSHALL 33 blocks Bill Riggs 12 of Beaver played Wayne. They were really excited and this excitement showed as they really creamed the Badger's. The final score was The next night the game was a lot tougher and closer but the team had a lot of determination and enthusiasm. We had a good start with a slight lead and we kept this lead until the end of the game. The final socre 7 with Paul Robinwas son being the high scoreman. Everyone come and support the team this weekend so we can take region. Rams Ut Tiaers. 65-4- Anderson Camp D.U.P. The Anderson Camp of D.U.P. met at the home of Daug. Ruby Grimshaw Mon., March 7 at 1:30 p.m. A luncheon was served to 14 members. The meeting was called to order by Capt. LaPreal Willden. The group sang 'Loves Old Sweet Song.' Daughter Mabel Muir gave the lesson: Historic Western Trails. She discussed the 'Louis and Clark' and the 'Mormon Batallion Trails.' It was very interesting and very well done. 52-4- 73-5- 4 90-2- It was not so apparent in the beginning that an upset was in the making. The game began slowly with a lot of running and missed shots. The period ended with Parowan leading 10-The second period began with the Ram's gathering in three before the Tiger's answered. It seemed that the Ram's were inspired and had something to prove. Parowan had set a place and stuck to it, with their zone defense they kept Milford outside where it seemed that they couldn't buy a shot. The third period ended with Parowan in command The Rams Rogerson struck first in the final period muscling inside for two. Todd Williams was sent to the line for the Tiger's but missed and it was pulled in by Rogerson who dished off to Alan Burton who was fouled by Tiger David Gay. Burton missed and Mark Yardley gathered it in off the board and scored at the other end on the fast break. After a scirmish Mike Robinson found himself at the line and added two more for his Rams lead. At 5' 11" and a Chad Hardey missed from the line for the Tigers.
