LaRee Grover and Vonnie Grover presided at the gift table. The bride was lovely in a white satin wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her veil was of white net lace covered with seed pearls and she carried a corsage of white chrysanthemums and a lavender orchid. A large crowd of relatives and friends were present and many beautiful and useful gifts were received by the young couple. During the evening a program was presented with V. D. The marriage took Mrs. Clyde Coombs entertained Sunday in honor of her daughter, Margaret, on her 6th birthday anniversary. Fourteen little friends participated in playing games and eating the delicious refreshments prepared by Mrs. Coombs. Mr. and Mrs. Gail White, was honored at a birthday party on afternoon. Her bridal bouquet was of split carnations centered with a white orchid. APPROACHING MARRIAGE ANNOUNCED BY PARENTS Announcement is made this week by Mr. and Mrs. Wildon L. Grover, East Garland, of the approaching marriage of their daughter, Irene to Mr. David O. McKnight, son of Mr. and Mrs. William McKnight of Gilmer! Texas. Miss Grover is a graduate of the Bear River high school and Henager Business College and has been employed with a law firm in Salt Lake for the past two years. Mr. McKnight received his high school education in Texas and is now attending the U. of U. in Salt Lake. The wedding Is planned for September 30th and will be followed by a wedding reception and dance the same evening at the East Garland ward recreation hall, 9 o'clock. " Z::ri Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Cutler of Snowville announce the engagement of their daughter, LaDene to Wynn Zundel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rozel Zundel of Fielding. Miss Cutler is a graduate of Bear River High School and attended the B. Y. U. for one year. Mr. Zundel is also a Bear River high graduate and spent two years studying at the U. S. A. C. He is now stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington with the National Guard. Date for the wedding has not been set. TMtM Mrs. Ted Jones is leaving Saturday for Salt Lake where they will move into their new home. She and her daughter have been with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Briggs for the past two months while the house was being completed. |
