L A. on Saturday was a huge success. The festivities .began at 1 p. m. with a Junior parade in which most of the children of the ward participated, with decorated tricycles, bicycles, doll buggies, wagons and a covered wagon with pioneers and Indians and boys on horsback. There were races for the children and two ball games were played by the girls and the men. Stands were set up in the grove, where refreshments were . served. The affair was wound up by a hayseed dance in the evening. A number, .pf couples from were invited to lead out in the, old, time, dancing. A beautiful flower show and handmade articles were on display all day in the recreation , Trs-monto- n, . With the hamburgers and weiners left over, the special interest class staged a party at the Udy Hot Springs. Over 25 people attended and enjoyed swimming and the weiner roast, after. Mr. and Mrs. Don Shaffer of Sun Valley and Bob Shaffer of Gannett drove down Sunday. They with Mrs. L. R. Shaffer attended: the funeral services of Jarol Staffer's grandfather in Ogden. Mrs. L. R.
