Mr. Harris was born in Kays-villDavis County, Utah, December 15, 1874. He received his schooling in the Davis County Schools and the Weber Stake Academy. In 1896 he went to the Bear River Valley, where he was employed for the Bear River Irrigation and Ogden Water Works Company. At this time, he purchased farm land and prepared for establishing his home. In 1896, he married Mary M. Waldron of Morgan, Utah, in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple, and they located in Boihwell, Box Elder County, Utr.h whcie they resided until tne fall of 1.U-- at whioh time, they moved into Tremonton.
