''CAprU The Tremonton Second ward chapel was crowded Monday afternoon for the funeral services for Mrs. Harriet Eliza Waldron Harris, who died Friday evening after a short illness. Members of U. High Priest's Quorum attended in a body, showing respect to Mr. Harris, one pf their number. The beautiful flowers gave evidence also of the many friends of the family. Bishop Ford Jeppson conducted the service, with the choir sing ing "That Sweet Story of Old," as the opening number. The invocation was offered by Eldred Waldron, a nephew. A vocal solo by Fredona Dixon, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," followed A tribute to Mrs. Harris from the Midland Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers was given by Dora T. Brough. She had been an officer in that organization for twenty-on- e years. William E. Hawkins, a neigh' bor for forty-fiv- e years reviewed the early life of this couple in Bothwell. An organ solo, "The End of a Perfect Day," was then played by Mrs. Geneve Walker. E. H. Cornwall then read from the scriptures as they applied to the life of Mrs. Harris. Mrs. Eldred Waldron then sang, "I Walked today Where Jesus Walked." Patriarch James Walton, the next speaker expressed his appreciation for the loyal support given the ward by the Harrises during his years as Bishop. Bishop Jeppson the concluding speaker paid tribute to the ef forts of the deceased and her husband in recent months. Dar-re- ll Anderson sang "How Beautiful Upon the Mountain" as the concluding musical number. He was accompanied by his mother. The benediction was offered by Charles Thomas and the grave in the River View Cemetery was dedicated by Edwin O. Stenquist. Mrs. Harris was born September 5, 1874 in Rlchville, Morgan County. She and Mr. Harris were married fifty years ago last Feb' ruary 2. Their golden wedding was observed only two months befoe her death. They have been residents of Bear River Valley since their marriage, and have lived in Tremonton for 32 years. She has filled many important calings in the Church, having served for seven years as president of the Y.W.M.I.A. in Both-wel- l, as a counselor In that organization and as a teacher in the Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society in both Bothwell .and Tremonton She had also been secretary to the Home Ec- onomics club and at the time of her death, was serving as treasurer of the D.UP. All members of her family were present at the service. They are Golden W. , Wilford W., Leland R. Harris and Mrs. Evan Green s, of Tremonton; Mrs. Thelma Dr. W.
