Mr. and Mrs. Elmon Shuman and Mrs. Ersol Berchtold and daughter Maona visited Wednesday with Mrs. Charles Jensen and children in Ogdcn and with Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Grover at Pine View Dam. Mrs. Ersol Berchtold entertained a large number of women Monday afternoon in honor , of the birthday of Miss Violet Berchtold of Brigham City. Mrs. Ruth Young, also of Brigham was Shurtz is the daughter cf Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Hansen Andrew Jensen has been on the sick list but is improved enough so that he can be up and about. He suftered a heart attack some time ago and is unable to do any strenuous work. Next Sunday is Mother's Jay and appnpriate exercises will be held in Sunday School. Every mother in the ward is urged to attend this session. Next Tuesday, May 15 th is " Aaron ic Priesthood" day and in commemoration of events of that day a ward social will be conducted at the park ground at 7:30 P. M. Games will be played and refreshments served. Every family in our community is invited to join in this event. Miss Lydia Fridal spent the weekend at home with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Fridal. She came to join her brother, Walter E. Fridal of the U. S. Navy, who is home on leave. The especially arranged V-- day program given in Relief Society Tuesday afternoon was truly an inspirational and devotional service.
