This is the fewest number of communicable diseases to be reported for any one week during: the past several years. The highlight of the weekly report is the fact that there were no cases of infantile paralysis reported while for the corresponding week one year ago 40 cases were reported. There were no cases or diptherla nor typhoid fever reported. An interesting feature of the re- port is that only 2 cases of measS cases of chickenpox and 2 cases of scarlet fever were reportles, ed. Five cases of tuberculosis were reported from the Utah State Tuberculosis Sanatorium. One delayed report of Rocky Mountain spotted fever was reported from Salt Lakt City; the patient is a female, 18 years of age.
