MEETING Mrs. Eli Anderson was hostess to the Midland Camp of the Daugh last week, when ters of Pioneers -the lesson, Journalism on Pioneer Days' was given by Ella Anderson. Musical numbers given included two vocal duets by Mrs. Eph Jensen and Mrs. Max Anderson, and Carol Jeasen and Sidney Anderson, and a solo by Mrs. Jensen. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess. DINNER HONORS BIRTHDAY OF O. C. RICHARDSON In honor of her husoand's 54th birthday anniversary, Mrs. O. C. Richardson entertained at a surmemprise party. The following were present: bers of the family Mr. and Mrs. Myrl Norr, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Richardson, Mr. and Mrs. Lyn Wheatley, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Richardson. Mr. Richardson received many gifts for the occasion and those present enjoyed the evening together. MRS. WOODHEAD ENTERTAINS AT BRIDGE club Members of her Bridge were graciously entertained Wednesday evening by Mrs. R. G. Woodliead at her home. Following an eight o'clock luncheon, the game was enjoyed with Mrs. Mel Foxley and Mrs. Ed Fronk winning the prizes. FRIENDS FETED AT FOXLEY HOME Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Foxley were hosts to a group of friends at their Dinner Club one evening last week. Following dinner, the guests enjoyed a game of Bridge at which Arch Richardson,, Mrs. Ed Fronk and Ed Fronk were successful in winning the prizes. Melvin Hamilton, a guest of the Booklore Club when they met last Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Londy Harris, reviewed the book, "The Apple In The Attic." An afternoon of Bridge was enn joyed by the ladies with Mrs. Stohl, Mrs. Wayne Sandall and Mrs. Howard Glenn winning the prizes. A delicious luncheon was served by the hostess. Wendell White To Lead Student Ac- tivities Next Year A spirited campaign for the election of student body officers of the Bear River high school for the next school year came to an exciting finish Friday when Wendell White, all around athlete and capable speaker, was elected president. Emma Rae Anderson, whose versitile talents have been displayed in many school activities, was chosen vice president, and Frances Landvatter who has served as vice president of the junior class this year, became secretary and treasurer. Opposing candidates were Orin Adams, Clara Wood and Eleda Vee Smith.
