RELIEF SOCIETY NEWS work and business The of Tremonton Second the meeting ward Relief Society will be1 held next Tuesday afternoon. This meeting was postponed from the regular second Tuesday due to the fact that so many women were helping in the beets. The teachers' report meeting will be held immediately after the work and business session. A Wat 3-- Walter Wuthrich. Box 'Elder county farmers will be d permitted to redeem wheat held under loan to commodity credit corporation through June 30, 1942, at feed wheat prices, A. W. Bishop, chairman of the county AAA committee announced today. In the area where the feed wheat price is determined on the basis of the 1941 wheat loan value at the point of destination, the redemption price shall be three cents more than the 1941 loan value of wheat. Producers must agree in writing that the wheat will be fed on farms to livestock or poultry or will be sold for such purpose. No redemption or sale shall be permitted unless the county committee determines that the producer redeeming the wheat or the producer purchasing the wheat has sufficient livestock or poultry to utilize the wheat as feed within a reason able length of time. Producers purchasing wheat from other producers will be required to agree in writing that the wheat will be fed to livestock or poultry, he shall be required to pay the corporation an amount equal to the difference between the loan value, plus interest, plus storage allow ance, plus interest and the amount at which the wheat was redeemed. The plan further provides that the producers who redeem their 1941 wheat be permitted to retain the cent storage allowance on 1941 wheat if they have received the allowance, and that the allowance be de ducted from the redemption price in the event they have not received it, and producers who redeem 1940 wheat be permitted to retain the storage allowance advance at the time of the loan was extended and the storage allowance for the extended period be deducted from the redemption price. Any farmer wishing to redeem his wheat should see his county AAA committee at once. A new issue of farm account books' is now available for distribution to farmers of Utah who are desirous of keeping production and financial records of their farm business. Copies may be obtained by writing the State Agricultural Extension Office, U. S. A. C, Logan, Utah, or by contacting the county agricultural agent at Brig ham City. The books are being sold at 30 cents per copy. This price is necessary to meet the cost of paper and printing. These are times when more farm ers should be urged to keep rcords of their business. Every other business operator finds it absolutely necessary Farm records, well kept, will give a history of the performance of the farm, what happenend, when it hap pened, and the amount of money, labor, feed, seed, and other materials involved. Some of the important things which a well kept record' will ' provide for the farmer are: 1 Evidence of financial relationships with others, such as debtors and creditors. 2 Date for preparing income tax returns (more farmers will be required to file income tax returns next March). 3 Data for current management of the farm. 4 Data for enabling the farmer to make an analysis of his business to improve the profitableness of his farm The Extension Service shall be glad to assist you in setting up an accounting system adapted to your needs. farm-store- . i 7- DATES EXTENDED i map.
