Mr. and Mrs. Engvar Petersen were in Logan Sunday of last week, where they visited their son, William, who is there attending a mechanical school. George Marsh Jr. is there also. Miss Lael Miller returned home after having been employed in Brigham City for most of the summer. She and her brother Wendell are registered at the U. S. A. C. for the school season. Mrs. J. Brooks Shuman accompanied Mrs. Lawrence Petersen to Brigham City Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Starlin Stanfill were visitors at Thayne, Wyoming last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Sims are enjoying the visit of Mr. Sims' parents of Los Angeles, California. John L. Stanfill is In Logan attending the U. S. A. C. He and Reed Palmer, also a student there, were weekend guests at the Stanfill home. The Relief Society was reorganized Sunday evening at the regular sacrament services. The new officers are: president Mrs. Viola G. Shuman, with Mrs. Bessie P. Miller and Mrs. Aurelia M. Bosley as counselors and Jeanette M. Groyer as secretary. The outgoing officers were Mrs. Alice R. Miller, president and Mrs. Jeanetta M. Gro-vand Mrs. Ida O. Miller as counselors and Mrs. Lena M. Jensen, secretary. Mesdames Maud O. Cook and Ella Peck of the Stake Relief Society and Eric Stenquist of the stake high coulncil were in attendance. Mrs. Stenquist and Mr.- Cook accompanied them here. We are glad to report that Mrs. Marba Stanfill is home again, after receiving medical treatment at the Dee hospital. Little Miss Beverly Stanfill entertained at a birthday party Saturday. Games were played and refreshments were served to the guests, who came to wish her many returns of the day. Friends of Mrs. Adella Petersen Perry, of Perry, will be pleased to know she was awarded a wool blanket as a prize, of having named the park, in Perry. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pet ersen, former resident of Penrose. The Y. W. M. I. A. presidency chose as the new counselor, Mrs. Ida Miller.
