Serves 6. j j I SHOP THROUGH THE LEADER FIRST o -- COLUMN Lili There was a total of 482 cases of communicable disease reported to the Division of Epidemiology, Utah State Board of Health, for the week ending June 21; this is 32 cases fewer than were reported for the previous week and 243 cases more than were reported for the corresponding week last year. A total of six cases of tularemia was reported this week; these cases being reported from the following counties: San Pete, Duchesne, Salt Lake and Utah. Since January 1, 1940, there has been reported to the Utah State Board of Health a total of 26 cases of tularemia from various sections of the state, as compared with 17 cases for the same period last year. A total of 204 cases of measles were reported; this is 18 fewer than were reported la$t week. Three cases of diptheria were re ported from Utah County.. There was a total of 159 cases of whooping cough reported as compar ed with 179 last week and 46 cases for the corresponding week last year. Other communicable diseases reported this week are as follows: chick enpox 46, German measles 2, mumps 17, pneumonia 11, scarlet fever 2, tuberculosis 4, gonorrhea 5, syphilis 19, septic sore throat 2, and amoebic dysentery 1. No cases of smallpox nor typhoid fever were reported. The following counties reported no diseases: Beaver, Cache, Grand, Dag gett, Rich, San Juan, Uintah, Wasatch and Washington. FOOD r if "THE O. P.
