Mr. and Mrs. George Coombs Jr. received word of the sudden death of Mr. Coomb's grandmother, Mrs Bathsheba Bigler Steed, at her home in Farmington, Monday, January 1. Mrs. Steed was born June 12, 1857 in Farmington and had lived there all her life. Friends and relatives here were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. Sarah Tanner Hansen of Beaver Ward on New Years Eve. Mrs. Hainsen was struck by a car when crossing the street. She is remembered as a diligent and efficient member of the early Bear River M. I. A. stake board and Relief Society worker. In a basketball game here Thursday evening, with Brigham Fourth Ward the local boys were winners. Mrs. Sarah Shuman, mother of Mrs. James H.
