Weeks in preparation, the edition will tell the story of the industries, civic buildings, assets. and forward, iiugiesa m uian, soutnern and eastern Idaho, western Wyoming, and eastern Nevada. The first section of 32 pages will cover cities, towns. trade, finance, and education; the second section of 24 pages will tell of manufacturing, mining, and building. tne third section of 16 pages will cover agriculture, livestock, and poultry. There will be 150 pages and 10 sections in the complete Sunday paper Immense cost has been Involved in publication. Color montage covers and scores of pictures will highlight the edition. Residents are requested to obtain extra copies of the edition and mail to friends, relatives, and business associates. Through this cooperation it is expected the Progress Edition will be mailed to every major city of the nation and to most of the countries of the world. A $100 cash prize "Know Your Intermountain Empire" contest sponsored by the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Tribune, has been designed to effect a more thorough knowledge of the Intermountain Em pire among school children.
