KJ I ISAM IE - SNOW-LIN- E MAJESTIC - OGDEN VALLEY NATURIPE - LIKE FRESH - MANTI U-TAH- -NA in Peas, Beans, Tomatoes and Mixed Vegetables for Salads MANUFACTURED BY This page is devoted to an educational campaign to inform the citizens of this community of the brands of products, most of which are grown on the farms in this valley and manufactured in this city, that are for sale by the Rocky Mountain Packing Corporation. It is made possible by businessmen and merchants of this city, who appreciate the undersigned what the factory means to the cqmmunity and the potential possibilities of one as large again if a consistent demand by the consumers of canned products is made for the Rocky Mountain products. It was explained to a committee from the Tremonton Lions Club in a recent visit to the canning officials at Salt Lake that the plant in Tremonton could be enlarged to two or three times its capacity and additional products added if the consumers of this valley would ask for Rocky Mountain Packing Corp'n brands, a list of which appears on this page. There is not a single reason why thes brands should not be on the tables of every person in the valley at all times. They are considered among the finest that can be had and, when it is taken into consideration that the farmers of this valley grew them and the boys and girls, men and women of this community helped to pack them and thereby received and kept at home the biggest part by far of every dollar the company received for the finished product, it is only good business from a financial standpoint to help ourselves and from a health standpoint receive the best that the market offers to insist on these brands and become conscious of the fact that we are putting money into our own pockets when we use these products. During this week the merchants are displaying cards and labels to familarize the buying public with them. The slogan adopted in this campaign, and which by the way is easily attained, as pointed out above, is "A six months f actofry run instead of six weeks." The figures below are interesting by comparison on 1935 when tomatoes were canned and in 1936 and 37 when, due to lack of consumption, tomatoes were not canned: 1935 1936 1937 - $50,092 41,305 33,883 $92,389 62,118 68,668 The difference in the amount paid the farmers in 1936 and 37 was the increased price paid for peas, which were also of a higher grade. Citizens everywhere are respectfully requested to specify these brands when making their purchase. The undersigned businessmen and merchants will be glad to answer your questions and explain to you the simple method of how wq can increase the payroll of the farmer land laborer by just asking for the above brands when making purchases. Buy a case, your merchant will be glad toj mix them for you and explain the quality and price of each and every brand.
