Jensen of Ogden were Sunday guests of Mrs. Sarah K. Shuman. The Book of Mormon class, under the direction of Mrs. Bessie P. Miller, have planned a party for Friday evening of this week at the recreation hall. This will preceed the dance to be held later in the evening. Rhea Stanfill entertained Monday evening at a Hallowe'en party. The 6th, 7th and 8th grades of our school held a Hallowe'en party Friday evening. Led by Mr. Jackman, the principal, they had stunts, spook alley and games. The girls at school planned the luncheon, which carried out the Hallowe'en colors. Little Lynn Shuman, small son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Brooks Shuman, is convalescing from pneumonia. The Primary had a party for the children on Tuesday. Mrs. Lena M. Jensen and Miss Althea Miller were hostesses. Cookies and apples were served. After practicing for conference, games were played. Hansen on their way to Salt Lake City, where Nolan is now attending the Mission Home prior to his departure for his mission In Norway. Friday evening, Mrs. Andrea Hug-gin- s entertained a number of boys and girls in honor of the 12th birthday of her son, Farrell. During the evening Lotto and Bunco were enjoyed with Artell Anderson winning high prize and Dale Brailsford, low prize for the boys. Betty Archibald, received high prize for the girls and Glenn Rae Anderson', low prize. A delicious luncheon, was served to twenty-four guests. Out of town guests were Margaret, Doris and Ross Olsen of Deweyville. Mrs. Rasmus Christensen entertained a number of little folks at her home Saturday afternoon in honor of the fifth birthday of her daughter, Patty. Games were played, after which a delicious tray lunch was served. Mrs. Christensen was assisted with the serving by her daughter, Hope. Mrs. Charlett Zito, of Ogden, who has been receiving treatment at the Valley Hospital in Tremonton for ten days, is now staying at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Anderson. The evening was spent in games and fun, after which luncheon was served. Maurine Welling entertained a group of friends at her home Monday evening. Jay Welling and Miss Verda Fagg, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Leroy Welling, also of Salt Lake, spent Sunday in Fielding visiting with relatives and friends.
