Hansen. Following the program a dance was held In the amusement hall at which a large crowd was in attendance and at which time a good size purse of money was given to Lynn to help him on his way. Thursday evening the dance that was given by the Bear River City Garden club was very well attended and an enjoyable time was had. The proceeds of this dance is to be used to beautify the Bear River City cemetery. Mrs. Meda Holmgren is president of the club and the dance was in charge of Mrs. Lucinda Jensen, and Mrs. Elvira Christensen. Light refreshments were served. Miss Hope Christensen, who is attending school at the U. of U. in Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Christensen. Miss Lela Jensen, who is teaching school in Willard, spent the weekend visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jensen. Kenneth and Cycil Birch, Jesse Brailsford and Woodine Miller spent Sunday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Arnold Hansen was taken to the Valley hospital in Tremonton, Wednesday evening for medical treatment. Miss Ruth Burt who is. attending school at the B. Y. TJ. in Provo spent the weekend visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reg. Burt. Jensen was operated on at the Valley hos pital in Tremonton, Saturday evening for appendicitis. Miss Verla Hansen, who is attend ing a beauty school in Ogden, spent the weekend visiting her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Victor N. Hansen. She also attended the dance for her cousin, Lynn Iverson. Tuesday evening, Mr. and Mrs Henry B. Hansen entertained a num ber of their friends.
