Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Shumway and jar. ana Mrs. jacK Shumwav were dinner guests Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Cannon in Tremonton. Bob Kirkham, a student of the L. D. S. business college in Salt Lake City spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kirkham. Miss Margaret Tanner of Salt Lake City is visiting at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Arthur Welling. Messrs M. H. Welling and Charles Welling of Salt Lake City, Edward, Horace and George Welling of n and Mrs. Marietta Sill of Lay-towere guests at the home of their brother, Arthur and Mrs. Welling Sunday evening after attending funeral services for their sister, Mrs. Annie Secrist at Fielding. Miss Estelle Welling, a student of the U. of U., spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Welling. Mrs. Geo. O. Nye returned Saturday after spending the week visiting with her children in Salt Lake City and in Brigham City. Mrs. Leland Hansen entertained twenty six guests at dinner Sunday evening in honor of the birthday anniversary of her husband. The Misses Marjorie Hansen and Dorothy Hall attended the show in Ogden, Monday night. Leland Hansen was a . visitor in Twin Falls, Idaho, Friday and Sat-- , urday. Leland Hansen was a business visitor in Logan Tuesday. A farewell testimonial was held in the Brigham City 3rd ward chapel on Sunday evening, honoring Bill and :Walt Woff inden, who were residents of that ward before moving to Garland some four year ago.
