The ladies of the Home and Community section of the farm bureau, held a meat canning demonstration Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. James Summers. 37 quarts of meat was bottled. Dainty refreshments were served by Mrs. Summers to the ladies present. The comedy-dram"Star Bright," was presented in a splendid manner Wednesday evening by the Black Pine ward, to a large and appreciative audience. . J. :x: A very interesting and educational pamoranas was given at the school house, Monday afternoon for the ben-i- f it of the school children, after which the weekly primary meeting was held. Ice cream was served by the primary officers to nearly one hundred children and teachers. The Beaver ward M. I. A. held their closing social at the ward hall Tuesday evening. A large crowd was in attendance. Mrs.Althea Perkins entertained 16 members and several guests of the Rendezvous club Saturday afternoon. After numerous games a splendidly prepared luncheon was served by the hostess. Mr .and Hrs.
