Mrs. Frona Cates of this city was hostess Saturday to the members of the Entre Nona club. A large bowl of pink June roses adorned the spacious dining room table, where a sumptuous hot dinner was served. The afternoon was spent in a social way. The Pep cooking club met at Miss LaVoy Elwell Thursday afternoon. Ronella Holman, the president, conducted the meeting. Breakfast cereals were prepared . A demonstration on muffins was given by Arva Dallin and LaVoy Elwell. There were 10 girls present. Misses Ruby Nelsen and Helen Farrell, of Great Falls, Montana, are visiting for a week at the home of Miss Nelsen's aunt, Mrs. Sina Thorsen and family, also with other relatives. Miss Nelsen and Miss Farrell are to California, by auto, to visit friends. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jensen had as their guest on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Andersen, Mr. and Mrs. Rob- ert Wilkensen and family, all of Og-- i Mrs. George Abbott had as Satur day evening and Sunday guests, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Waldron and sons, Dick and Tom, of Morgan, and Hyrum Tibbetts and family of 1Ogan. On Saturday they at tended the Waldron family reunion at Crystal Hot Springs. Mrs. J. 0. Garfield and son, Irvin, motored to Salt Lake City, Sunday. Miss Wanda Garfield returned home with them from the hospital where she recently underwent an operation for appendicitis. Mrs. Ira Fridal and Mrs. K. H. Fridal were shopping in Opden on - 4-- H en-rou- te den. Miss Bernice Iversen attended a shower at Portage Wednesday parcel evening, given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allen, who were recently tnarriod. Rasmus Christensen made a business trip to Salt Lake City on Saturday. Mrs. Zina Hansen, Mrs. Emma Mrs. Sarah M. Fridal, Mrs. Ably Miller, Misses Harriett Sorensen, Esther Ohman, Elva Rasmussen and Margaret Miller and Elder Arland 0. Sorensen attended the conference in Salt Lake City Saturday and Sunday, Miss Aleen Hansen, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Fred Hansen, is attending summer school at Flagstaff, Arizona. William Chancey Bowden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bowden, of this city and Miss Minnie Alice Long, of e Provo, Utah, were married at City Friday.
