The guests had a very enjoyable evening and a very delicious waffle breakfast was served by the Misses Summers. The guests were Ruby Anderson, Leona Stokes, Helen Christensen, Mary and Lorine Ellis and Delora Rasmus sen of Brigham. A very interesting meeting was held in the ward hall under the direction of the Seventh Quorum of Elders. Mr. Berchstold, Mr. Marsh, Mr. Schuman pnd Mr. Miller of Penrose with Mr. Amos Hansen of Elwood were the speakers, antTgave very interesting talks. A piano tl uct was fur rushed by the Misses Miller. The family of Senator Tracy Welling has moved to Salt Lake to re- main for a few months. The Sunday School gave a very en joyable party for the children Christmas eve. Santa was present and distributed candy and nut3 to all present. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Forsberg, Miss Ruth Forsberg, Miss 'Phyllis Richard and Miss Vera Bowcutt went to Salt Lake Tuesday of last week and came back Wednesday. Mrs. Rose Crawford of Union, and Mrs. Frank Davis of Garland were Monday.
