The leading social event of last week was the dancing party and banquet given by the teachers and members of the New Testament class of the Sunday school, Thursday evening. The public was invited to the dance. Music was furnished by the Elwood orchestra. The banquet included the School Sunday Superintendency, Bishopric, class teachers and members. A very enjoyable time was had. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Mason had as their Sunday guests: Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Morgan, of Montpelier, Ida., and their daughter Miss Mary Mason of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Garn and Miss Grace Nelson of Ogden, spent Satur day evening with Mr. and Mrs. Danj our amusement hall, Saturday, Oct 25th, in honor of Oleen N el sen, who leaves soon for a mission to the Hawaiian Islands. We were very fortunate in having Mr. Griffith and Patriarch Denmark Jensen, at the Sunday school, both giving interesting talks. Sunday evening, John Adams, was the speaker. Miss Edna Thorsen of this city and Shelby Atchley of Sevierville, Tenn, were married at the Thorsen home Saturday, October 18th, by Bishop Osey Jensen of this city. Following the wedding dinner, the young couple left for Salt Lake City.
