Salt Lake Boy Scouts are with the Police Department j A Bear River City i Sunday evening in connection with the Sacrament meeting, a number of the members of the Tremonton ward furnished the program. Meeting commenced at 8 o'clock P. M. with counselor Edwin Stenquist in charge. Singing "Improve The Shining Moments;" prayer, Arnold Nelsen; singing, "Well Sing All Hail To Jesus' Name." Sacramental Music, Aileen Calderwood of Tremonton. Edwin Stenquist announced Temple excursion, Friday, September 19th, to Logan Temple, and then announced that the program was to be given under auspices of genealogical committee, who then turned the time over to counselor Isreal Hun-sakof Tremonton, who spoke of their appreciation of having the privilege of putting on a program in this ward. The following program was given: Quartette, Earl Marble, Mervin Christensen, Clifton Kerr and A. I. speaker, Maurice Pack; Morgan; quartette, Earl Marble, Mervin Chris-tense- n, Clifton Kerr and A. I. Morgan; sepaker, Clifton Kerr. Sarah M. Fridal announced Relief Society convention to be held in Brigham next Sunday and urged all to attend. Counselor Stenquist thanked the Tre- monton ward for their splendid program and invited the mto come again. The closing song was "Now Let Us Rejoice," with prayer by Oluf Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Milford Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pappworth, of Afton, in this Wyoming, spent the week-en- d city, the guest of Mr .and Mrs. Austin L. Johnson. The three ladies are er : . ; sisters. Johnson, Sunday. Miss Esther Ohman spent Saturday and Sunday, the guest of her cousin, Anna Andersen of Corinne. Misses Beth and Kowane Macfarlane and their brothers, Leo, Jay and Reed went to Elba, Idaho Saturday to visit with relatives. They returned home Sunday evening. Hansen went to Ogden last week to visit a eirl friend of Mrs. Hansen's, Mrs. T. J. Thomas, who has a son leaving for a mission to Germany in the near future. Nish, Mr. and Mrs. .Virgil Nish, were called to Salt Lake City, Thursday to the L. D. S. hospital where Mrs. Thomas J. Nish's son Ren Mansfield was operated upon for appendicitis. Mr. Mansfield was very low when they arrived there but when they left he seemed a bit better. Charles Briggs of Ridgedale, Ldaho. stopped in Plymouth, Wednesday eve ning on his way to bait bake City, to visit his daughter Mary, who is in the L D. S. hospital. ? Mrs. William Silvester and Mrs. Oleen Josephson were in Tremonton Tuesday in the interest of Art work for the Relief Society. ; r A number of Relief Society officers attended conference at Garland Sunday. ( The Relief Society officers had a bazaar here Saturday afternoon, which started at 2 o'clock with a short program as follow: Singing, by the congregation; prayer Eupervisor Agnes Archibald; singing, congregation; a short talk, Sarah A. Rudd; benediction Arnice E. Lamb. The time was then turned over to selling the articles which were on display.;; . . Mrs. Sarah Jesse Mason and Mrs. Don R. Lamb were Tremonton shoppers, Saturday forenoon. - Mr. John Clifford Mason and child ren, of Ogden; Mrs. Hannah Hess of Bountiful, motored here Sunday to visit Mr. Mason's and Mrs. Hess father, Jesse Mason, who is ill. In the afternoon they motored back to Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Mason accompanied them, where Mr. Mason went on to Salt Lake City to receive medical treatment.
