Show BEAR RIVER VALLEY LEADER, THURSDAY, JANUARY 30, 1930. Deweyyille --I i- - Friday nipht, January 17th, Mr. and Mrs. James Burbank, of this place entertained in honor of Mark Bigler. A hot supper was served to eighteen. The evening was spent in playing Book and other games. Mrs. J. A. Fryer accompanied her little grand daughter Betty June Schieb to Salt Lake Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Duett Loveland were in Ogden Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sudsburry and children were shopping in Ogden, Saturday. The Ward Reunion and Home Coming was very successful which was held here, January 24th. Saturday night, the Deweyville basket ball team went to Brigham City and played with the Watkins team at the High School. Brigham team were victorious by one basket A number of our home people accompanied the basket ball team to Brigham. After the game they enjoyed the talkies and dance. Saturday night, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burbank, entertained at a house party, at their home here in honor of their son Mark, who left for California, Sunday afternoon. Miss Pearl Jensen of Petersboro, visited her sister, Mrs. Wilford Miller, of this place, a few days. Mrs. Fred Harwood of Salt Lake City visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Lish, of this place, Friday afternoon. Mrs. A. A. Loveland and daughter, Edna, of Salt Lake City spend the week-en- d here visiting friends and relatives. The ladies of our community who play bridge enjoyed the party given by the Honeyville bridge ladies one afternoon last week. Mrs. William Fererson, Mrs. Wralter Sudsberry and Mrs. Geo. Record were shopping in Tremonton, Monday. Monday, Mr. and Mrs. John Knud-so- n of this place visited their daughter, Nellie, who is at the Garland hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Worthland of Salt Lake were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lish of this place Monday and Tuesday. C. J. Dewey was calling on friends and relatives here Monday. Owing to the changeable weather there is some sickness in town now. Mrs. Sarah Archibald is back to Tremonton, visiting her son, Parley, for a few days. Mrs. Hattie Marlow of Blackfoot, Idaho, was a week-en- d guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Rudd. Mrs. Marlow was formerly Hattie Rudd. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Steed and family of Grantsville, Utah, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Rudd. Those who attended the funeral of Erastas Harper Rudd, from Fielding, were Mr. and Mrs. George Coombs, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Coombs, Mrs. Glen Ward, Ed Spackman and Miss Iri3 Coombs. Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Coombs, Mrs. Spacman and daughter, Myrtle, of Salt Lake City, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Rudd. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Rudd returned to Carey, Idaho, Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Diterly and ramily returned to Rexburg, Idaho, Tuesday. Mrs. Ester Pattillo was a week-enguest of Mr. and Mrs. E. II. Rudd. She returned to Salt Lake City Tuesday. The play entitled '.'Rocky Ford" was very successfully put on here by the Plymouth Dramatic Companv. Monday night. The house was filled to capacity and was enjoyed by all after which a dance was given by the Plymouth Orchestra. The proceeds of the evening will be turned over to the ward to assist in paying on the new piano, which has been recently placed in our amusement hall The Dramatic Co., will give our neighboring towns, a treat when they visit them with this play in the near future.
