On Tuesday of last week the Relief Society ladies met at the home of Mrs. Amelia Anderson. The afternoon was spent cutting and sewing quilt blocks. Delicious refreshments were served by MrsOtlerson and her daughter, Mrs. Ethel Jensen. On Thursday, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Anderson and children, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Miss June Reeves of Centerville is visiting here with her grand mother, Mrs. Anton Anderson. A number of our Relief Society ladies attended the district conference at Tremonton Tuesday. A dance will be held here on Friday evening under the auspicis of the "M" Men. Benton's orchestra. On .Sunday the "Mothers' Day" program was given by the Sunday school each members. Miss Lucille King of Willard, is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Leslie Anderson. Fielding News of the death of Gilbert Archibald was received here Tuesday afternoon, from a Logan hospital where he was removed to last Saturday afternoon Jtrecieve treatment for a his cheek. Mr. and Mrs. Archibald moved here from Clarkston just one month ago to make their home. Funeral services will be held in Clarkston. The entire community regrets the sad loss of their new citizen. Wednesday evening of last week, Mr. and Mrs. David Wood, Sr. entertained at dinner in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Cook, who were married that day in Logan.
