"Overall, we thought an excellent job was done in parking and otherwise handling the traffic last summer, but we hope to do an even better job with this phase of activity," he indicated. Based on an original dramatic reading first written and presented by Miss Grace Johnson, Ephraim, The Mormon Miracle, had its first performance at the Sanpete County fairgrounds in Manti in 1967. The following summer the pageant was moved to Temple Hill, with the Temple itself forming a part of the setting. Each year has seen modifications in the original script and the development of a more elaborate production utilizing the most modern facilities in the way of sound, lighting and staging.
