Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Nadine) Tuft had as their guests over the Thanksgiving weekend brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alma C. Johnson and three sons and Don's father, Mr. H.A. Tuft of Salt Lake. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stan (Gladys) Oakden for Thanksgiving were Mr. and Mrs. Don (Barbara) Oakden and sons. They enjoyed a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman (Clara) Carter with other family members. Mr. and Mrs. Leo (Naomi) White daughter, Karl and son, Tracy and Alice White spent the Thanksgiving week in Wenatchee, Washington with Mr. and Mrs. Marvin (Phyllis) White and family. Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Madge) Easton and family of Buhl, Idaho spent the Thanksgiving weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kay (Norma) Easton and Mr. and Mrs. Dave (Nola).Pearce. Marvin Spendlove Is IntheVet-ran- s Hospital for a checkup and medical treatments. Mr. and Mrs. Bert (Syble) Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Kay (Betty) Calder and son, Robert of Salt Lake spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with their mother and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Lucille) Critser. Mr. and Mrs. Max (Elaine) Limb and children went to Las Vegas to spend Thanksgiving with Elaine's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Davis and Mr. and her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Merlene) Smith and family and to assist Fred and Merlene in moving back to Beaver. On Thanksgiving Day their son, Shawn, had an attack of croup pneumonia and had to be hospitalized for two days. After treatments he was much Improved and they returned home Sunday. Mrs. Feggy Stapley and family motored to Cortez, Colorado to spend Thanksgiving with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. George (Bobby) Murdock. Shortly after they arrived there George was fixing fence and anall flew hitting him in the eye and causing serious trouble. He was rushed to Durango, Colo to a specialist for treatment and is still in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Merlene) Smith and family have moved Into the Martell Easton home. They plan to make their home In Beaver. They have resided in Las Vegas for several years. Mrs. Gertrude Easton enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner in Milford with her nephew and family, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar (Selma) Kirk. Mr. and Mrs. Dick (Larae) Nowers and family spent Thanksgiving In Las Vegas with Dick's Mr, and Mrs. Emil parents, (Viola) Nowers. They were joined by Nancy and family and Leah and family. Mr. and Mrs. Chalmer (Helen) Davis and sons, Craig and Kim, In St. enjoyed Thanksgiving George with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Wane) Hickman. Helen says the weather was delightful. Mr, and Mrs. Eddie (Karen) Erlckson were In Salt Lake last week to take their son, Gary, to have his tonsils removed and a checkup on an ear Infection. They attended the reception for Dar- - were married November 19,1971 in the Salt Lake Temple. The reception was held the same Draper LDS evening In the Church. Also attending the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard (Mima) Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Pershing (Audry) Erickson, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin (Bea) Spendlove. Mr. and Mrs. McKay (Janell) Farrer and Dale Nelson spent In Thermoplis, Thanksgiving Wyoming. They went to Logan and got their son, Steven, who is attending school at USU and visited Janell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Ewing. Then on to Wyoming to enjoy dinner with their Mr. and daughter and family, Mrs. Tony (Krlstine) Longford. Dale visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nelson. Ross George (R.G.) Low, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Yvonne) Low and Miss Ann Ashurst, daug-t- er of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Ashurst of Fillmore were married Wednesday November 17, 1971 at the bride's parents home in Fillmore. They were honored at a dinner that evening at the Cafe Ilene. R.G. was on leave from his Army duties and left the following Saturday for a year in Korea. His parent's have recieved word he arrived safely in Korea. Mrs. Marie Keener and two children, Mrs. Bonnie Hutchlngs and family of Fallon, Nevada spent theirThanksgiving holidays in Beaver with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen (Evelyn) Hutchings and Mrs. Fern Church. Thanksgiving dinner was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Vicki) with other family Hutchings members. After spending a month visiting with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold (Althea) Low came home Sunday. They motored to Salt Lake where they visited a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Low and family and Mr. and Mrs. Scott (Maxine) Tattersall and family. Then they flew to Safford, Arizona to visit with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. D.B.(Beth) Stauffer and to attend the wedding of their grandson, Barley Stau- They were In Arizona until 26. They then took the plane to Salt Lake where they got their car and came home. Mr. and Mrs. Martell (Ella) Easton and Mr. and Mrs. Zealand (Marie) Murdock of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. George (Betty) Anderson of St. George were in Beaver to attend the Golden Wedding for Ken and Thelma Barton, ffer. Friday November Friday. Mrs. Louise Roberts enjoyed dinner in Cedar Thanksgiving City with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Sandra) Roberts. She also visited with her mother Mrs. Maude Huntington and Mr. and Mrs. Adrian (Sadie) Baldwin and family. Mr. and Mrs. Glen (Jane) Moore and family of Salt Lake spent the weekend with Thanksgiving Jane's mother, Mrs. Nell Cart-wrig- ht. Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie (Janiel) Roberts and family were in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Merlen) Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Dads and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Esplin and daughter Mary Ann, Alberta Limb, Lorrle Roberts, Peggy Ann Stapley, Teresa Gillies and Karl Hollingshead were In Preston, Idaho Saturday, November 27, 1971 to attend the wedding reception for Tammy Windward and David Minor who were married November 22, 1971 In the Logan Temple. Mary Ann was In charge of the Bride's Book. After the reception Grant and Vilda took Mary Ann to Rexburg, Idaho where she Is attending Ricks College. Valarie and Sheila Anderson of Las Vegas had Thanksgiving dinner with their father, Paul Anderson, brother, Lynn and sister, Madelane. They were here until Sunday and visited with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tony (Pauline) Woodhouse and Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Erma) Anderson. Mr, and Mrs. Sam (Lucinda) Patterson had as their guests Thanksgiving, Mr. and Mrs. Val (Florene) Barton and daughter, Valrie of Paragonah, Gwen Patterson of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Patterson of Milford. King and Donna Morris had a telephone call from Hal and Gloria Murdock In Louisville, Kentucky telling them that Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Kathryn Murdock) Helser and family of Columbus, Ohio would spend Thanksgiving with them. Kathryn Is Hal's aunt. Mr, and Mrs. Clark (Carol) Smith and family spent their Thanksgiving In Tooele, Utah with Clark's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Karl (Florence) Mc Bride. On Friday they went to Salt Lake to attend the annual Murdock Reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank (dare) Mur- - dock. There was over 80 relatives for the reunion from all parts of the state. Mrs. Phyllis Yardley will deliver in lots of 25 or more and Elizabeth Yardley attended the reception for Tammy Winward and David Minor in Preston, Idaho last Saturday. We enjoyed a family dinner at our home on Thanksgiving. Present to enjoy it were King, Donna and Larry Morris, Bill, Irene and family, Roger, Arda and Tina Ann Cox, Mike, Bobby, Mickie, and T.J. Morris, Lorl Bonner, George Beck, Gilbert Becentl, Blaine, Sam and L Bob Draper took his father-in-laWalter Mackerell to Salt Lake City Sunday where Walt entered the Saint Marks Hospital for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Earl (Vaun) Grim-sha- w enjoyed having all their children for Thanksgiving Mr. and Mrs. Conrad (Joann) Grim-sha- w and family and Neil Grim-sha- w and Marie Thompson and her family. Neil will remain home for a while. Mrs. Delia Soule and Nina Hall of Salt Lake enjoyedThanksgiving weekend with Mrs. Nola Cart-wrig- ht andHanabelKlrkham. The four sisters had dinner at Nola's home. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace (Beth) Dean, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Rita) Dean and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Dean of Salt Lake and Gary Dean were all In Lewiston, Utah to have Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ptussell Dean and family. Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Alta) Hickman motored to Winnemuca, Nevada to enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Josephine) Patterson and Connie Jo. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hickman and family of Seattle and Mr. and Mrs. Hal (Joan) Hickman and family were also there to enjoy the ocassion. Mrs. Christine Dalton is visiting in Ely, Nevada with her son Ipson and family. She plans to stay until after Christmas. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Vickie) Waters was really a family reunion on Thanksgiving when Mr. and Mrs. Bill (Beth) Crawford and daughter, Mary Bet, Mr. and Mrs. Steve (Sara Jane) Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Kathleen) Starr of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Patterson and son, Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. David (Patsy) McQulvey and baby, Mr. and Mrs. Allen (Deborah) Brady of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Carma) Sly and family of Sprlngville, Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Sadie) Low, Maurine Patterson and Vickie, Jack, La Nett, Doris and Brad Waters were all together for ThanksBeth Crawford giving dinner. is Vickies mother, Mary Beth, Sara Jane and Kathleen are her w, sisters. Mr. Mrs. Andrew (Edla) Terry spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Salt Lake with her sister and Call 896-555- in Richfield after 7 p.m. 1 MANDKKFlELD NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Blackner the weekend with relatives. Mr. and Mrs, Melvin Blackner and son, Kevin of Salt Lake spent Saturday and Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Blackner. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bradshaw and baby spent Thanksgiving day at St. George with Mrs. Brad-sha- had Thanksgiving dinner in Salt Lake with their son, Kay Blackner and family. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar (LaRae) Cox and family had Thanksgiving dinner with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Edwards. Mrs. Hazel Baldwin had her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Baldwin of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Baldwin and baby for dinner Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Roach spent sister family. ck the hospital and should be back in Beaver by the first of next week. ; and Mr. and Mrs. LaVel Bradshaw went to Green River Wednesday to visit their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (ReaDawn) Rowley and family. OnThursday, Randy, Colleen, Lynn, Glennaand families, Gary and Hazel and family of Salt Lake came for turkey dinner. Lynn and Glenna stayed until Friday. The others came home Thursday. Gary and Hazel spent the rest of week at the homes of Norman and Audrey Hutchings and LaVel and Ilynn's. They went home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill (Joyce) Moody and family spent Sunday at Mr, and Mrs.RayBradshaw's. They had been in Phoenix, Arizona for the holiday and were on their way home.
