Mr. and Mrs. Arshel Holling head have Mr. and Mrs. Dave Bennion of Provo, and Dell to spend Christmas with them. Robert Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Baker, will spend Christmas with his parents and other relatives. Guests during the holidays at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Yardley are their daughter, Sylvia, and Wayne Hansen, of Salt Lake, and their daughter, Jeanie, who attends the Utah State University. 0 Mr. and Mrs. Doug Baker and son of Logan are home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Baker. Rhonda McQuarrie, who is teaching in the Salt Lake schools, is home for Christmas Miss Phyllis Wendell, English and Social studies teacher at Beaver High School will leave Monday for her home in Centerville for the holidays. A sister, who has been visiting her for several days, will accompany her. There was a happy reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Doug Hutchings left for Salt Lake on business. His mother, Mattie Hutchings is spending Christmas with relatives in California. Mrs. Caroline Smith is spend ing Christmas with her daughter, Kathrine Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Grim-shaare visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Messinger and family. They plan to visit Michael's family in Enoch. They were in Beaver for the Bradshaw-Josep- h wedding, Friday. Visiting at the home of thsir parents, Mr. and Mrs Kenneth are Bowden, for Chhristmas Dean and Steve. Dean, RMSN. is in the Navy and has been in San Diego attending radii school. After the holidays he will leave for Japan. Steven RMSN is also in the Navy stationed in Graton, Connecticut since October. He will go to South Carolina to attend a Submarine School. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Yardley will spend Christmas in Provo with their daughter, Eudora Carter, and family and get acquainted with their new grand P.arcts hB'home whereol Forty years ago, that 600 to one ratio would have shut down the property despite the fact there was nearly 20 pounds of copper in every ton of ore. Today, there is only 14 pounds per ton. and the copper content Twenty years ago, when the ratio was 260 to one was steadily dropping management knew that vast changes had to be made if operations were to continue. - The problem of handling more material, more efficiently and at less cost has been solved for the time being, but the challenge for doing so in the future I l-- lfe l always will exist.
