Smyth Dies In Salt Lake Funeral Services For Henry Lafe Bradshaw Charlotte Powell Smyth, 92, died in a Salt Lake City nursing home August 14 of natural causes. Born April 6, 1876 in Beaver to David and Ann Morris Powell, she married Ephraim Robert Smyth April 23, 1902 in Beaver. He died on April 30, 1930. She was a member of the LDS church, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Silver Desert Camp, Funeral services for Henry Lafe Bradshaw were held Friday, August 9 in the Beaver Third Ward LDS Church Prayer at the mortuary was by Richard Bradshaw. Prelude and postlude music by Virginia Bradshaw. "O, My Father" was sung by Merrill Lowe, Gordon Baker, King Morris and Jack Waters. Opening prayer by Wesley W. Farrer. Organ solo by Margaret Ann Bradshaw. Speakers were Cecil Edwards and Earl Baldwin. Mildred Aftkin played a violin solo, "Going Home". James Bradshaw spoke. J. D. Osborn sang "Silver-Haire- d Daddy of Mine" y Closing prayer was by Harris. Flowers were cared for by the granddaughters. Pall bearers were Tim Gilli-gaGary, Joe, Sherman, David and Mark Bradshaw, Brent and Michael White.. Honorary pall bearers were all of the grandsons. Dedication of the grave was by Howard Bradshaw. Mil-for- d. Survivors: son, Powell Milford; one grandchild; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The funeral was held in Salt Lake on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m., afterwhich the body was brought to Beaver for burial. services were Graveside under the direction of Bishop Howard Bradshaw who gave the invocation. The obituary and a family history were given by Bishop Wesley W. Farrer. The grave was dedicated by Mark Woolsey. Manderfield Notes Ilynn Bradshaw Patty Larsen of Las Vegas visited at the home of Jean Baldwin for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Nelson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Elsworth, all of Chino, Calif., visited with Mf,' and Mrs.. Jess Edwards. While here they went up Manderfield Canyon for a few days to fish and enjoy the scenery. Suzanne Bradshaw was honored by having her friends from Beaver to help celebrate her ninth birthday. A good time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bradshaw visited at the home of the LaVel Bradshaws on Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Baldwin ( fllilllllhfllfr I of Richfield visited with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Baldwin. Floyd and Calvin Yardley were speakers at Manderfield Sacrament meeting on Sun. Mr. and Mrs. Omni Cart-wrigand family put on the program in the First Ward for Sacrament meeting on Sun ht day. Talks were given by Mr and Cartwright and Bishop Mrs. LaVel Bradshaw. Annette Edwards and Me linda Gale were accompanied by Kathy Lund as they sang a number. Talks were given by Lynn President Cartwright and Yardley.
