And so we, the members of the Beaver Business and Professional Womens Club, whole heartedly say THANK YOU. We feel your efforts have produced the right kind of advertising for the future of Beaver. Not one of the visiting ladies will forget that little dot on the road map called Beaver, or its hospitality. Visiting in Beaver over the past weekend were near two hundred and fifty ladies from all over the state who attended one or all of the functions in connection with the State Convention. BPW Among them were the National Representative and guest, Mrs. Elsie Gould of New Hampshire, Utah State President, Miss Jean Fox of Salt Lake, and her State officers, DeLone Petersen, Josephine Yergen-seKarla Hulet, Helen Dahle Frances Lenox and immediate past president, H. Anne Kidd. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack in El Madison (Barbara) Monte, California, where they enjoyed seeing Disneyland, Marine Land, Knotts Berry Farm and other attractions in Southern California. From there they went to Fallon, Nevada and visited Mrs. Bonnie Hutchings and Mrs. Marie Keener and families. Little Evelyn Keener returned with them to spend the summer with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hutchings. Mrs. Kim George and children of Jerome, Idaho are spending a couple of weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs Bryant Low. Decoration day visitors at the homes of George Nowers and Arthur Leon Smith were sisters of Fern and Erma Mrs. Elma Voorhees, Evelyn Van Wensveen and husband Pete. Mr. and Mrs. Lee White and Mrs. Arema Limb spent Sunday in Salt Lake where they attended lectures and demonstrations on the latest hair fashions and care. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Merlin Patterson last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. James Bonn of Bakersfield, Calf., Cecelia Patterson of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hart Patterson and family of Helena, Montana and Mrs. Estella Hollingshead of Phoenix, Ariz Mrs. Lorena Gillies and Mr. and Mrs. Bob (Hicks of Whittier, Calif, spent several days here last week. They had been to Provo to get their son, Tommy, who attended BYU. While here they spent two days at Little Reservoir fishing. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hutchings, Mrs. Nola Cartwright and Mrs. Hannabel Kirkham. Debbie and Danny Bently, children of Mr. and Mrs. Ber-de- ll Bently are in Beaver to spend the summer wT.h their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Madsen. Mrs. Jane Brown and Irah Cline of Panguitch, Southern Division Directors of BPW attended the convention and plan a visit to the Beaver Club in the near future. Mrs. Hattie Schwab and son, Louis, left Monday for Nor-walCalif. Louis will return home and Hattie will remain with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Browner. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Hurst returned to Pacific Grove, Calif after spending a month in Utah visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Warren White spent a day with his parn1s, Mr. and Mr3.
