Show Council Meets Universal Microfilm 141 Pierpont Ave. utuU r iioi Asks Cu3. "Mary Poppins" and "Born Free" Coming slc, Cooperation On Water Usage To Firmage Theatre The Mayor and City Council met on Monday evening and asked for the cooperation of the people of this city through the present dangerous fire season. An Ordinance is on the books of the city which calls for the stopping of all lawn watering by use of the city culinary water system during any fire. The Council asked that you be alert if you hear the fire siren, make sure that your lawn and garden hoses are shut off in order to give as much water as possible for use in fire fighting. The Hospital was the topic of considerable discussion and it was decided that an open house would be held this coming Sunday and that the plant would be placed in operation as quickly as possible. The machine for giving anesthetic has arrived and the operating table has been shipped. These are the two main items which have been holding back the opening of the plant. There are other small items which have not arrived as yet but they feel that they should not hold back the opening of the hospital any longer.
