Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS The following applications have been filed with the State Engineer to change water in Beaver County, State of Utah, throughout the entire year unless otherwise designated. All locations are in SLB&M. - Roy Yardley and Ira Yardley, Beaver, Ut. proposes to change the point of diversion sec-f- t. and place of use of 1 sec.-f- t. of 1 of 6 sec.-f- t. of water evidenced by Award No. 60, Beaver River Decree, as amended by Change Application No. as amended by Court Order dated January 10, 1956. The water has been diverted from South Creek at a point N. 1420 ft. and E. 550 ft. from SW Cor. Sec. 2, T30S, R7W, and used from Mar. 1 to Sept. 15 for the irrigation of 25 acres. 25-46- Hereafter of water 15-4- sec.-f- t. Hereafter the same quantity of water is to be diverted during the same period as above described from Beaver River at two points of diversion: (1) N. 1210 ft. and W. 160 ft. from SE Cor. Sec. 14, T29S, R7W; (2) same as heretofore, and used for the same purposes as above described. - Beaver City Corporation, Beaver, Ut proposes to change the point of diversion of .74 sec.-f- t. of 16.2 sec.-f- t. of water evidenced by Award No. 11 Beaver River Decree. The water has been diverted from Beaver River at a point S. 1780 ft. and W. 2050 ft. from NE Cor. Sec. 23, T29S, R7W, or at the City Power Plant Tail Race at a point S. 1520 ft. from Ny4 Cor. said Sec. 23, and used from Apr. 1 to Oct. 31 for the irrigation of 648 acres and for municipal and culinary purposes within the corporate limits of Beaver City. Hereafter the same quantity of water is to be diverted during the same period as heretofore from Beaver River at two points of diversion: (1) N. 1210 ft. and W. 160 ft. from SE Qor. Sec. 14, T29S, R7W; (2) same as described above. The water is to be used for the same purposes as heretofore. - Beaver City, a Municipal Corporation, Beaver City, Ut. proposes to change the point of diversion and place of use of of .74 sec.-f- t. of 16.2 sec.-f- t. water evidenced by Award No. 11, Beaver River Decree. The water has been diverted from Beaver River at a point S. 1780 ft. and W. 2050 ft. from NE Cor. Sec 23, T29S, R7W, or at the City Power Plant Tail Race at a point S. 1520 ft. from Ny4 Cor. said Sec. 23, and used from Apr. 1 to Oct. 31 for the irrigation of 648 acres within the corporate limits of Beaver City. They have been spending some time with their daughter and family, Mrs. Boyde Shelby, in Salt Lake City. st Mr. and Mrs. Gary Chamberlain of Salt Lake visited with the Chase Murdocks last week. They were on their way back home after a vacation trip to Grand Canyon with Gary's family. Mrs. John Williams of Salt Lake brought the good news that their son, John Clair, who recently graduated from the University of Utah had received an appointment as an agent of the FBI. He left to attend school at Washington, D.C. and will then be assigned a position. His wife and baby will follow later. Mrs. Williams (Faye) is the sister of Norma Easton and spent several days visiting with Norma and Ray, she will also visit another sister, Mrs. Ed Larson at Milford before returning home. The Goods are friends who also come to Beaver to enjoy the deer hunt. Tom Fredric Gunn, son of Byron Gunn of Provo has received his call to fill an LDS mission to Southern Brazil. Beaver people will remember Tom as two years ago he spent the sum mer in Beaver with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Gunn and played with the soft ball team. His farewell testimonial will be held August 9th. He is to be in the Mission Home in Salt Lake August 16. Perkins family of Hollywood, California are enjoying their summer home in Beaver. They have fixed up the .Old home Ella's mother, and plan on spending the summer months in Beaver. Recently they had the pleasure of having Ned Perkins, a brother, and his family for a few darys visit. Vowles of Caliente, Nevada visited with Mrs. Emerette their mother, Willden over the week end.
