Beaver High School planned their award assembly for Friday, and both schools will have baccalaureate, services Sunday. He had served as commissioner of finance on the Salt Lake City Council from 1949 to 1955 when he took a position as member of the South Salt Lake mosquito abatement commission. He held this position until the time of his death. C. Perkins were here to help celebrate her 94th birthday. A delicious dinner was enjoyed at the Elite Cafe, at 5 p. in., after which they retired to her home to spend the evening. Others present besides the family were Mrs. Annie Evans, who cares for Mrs. Oakden, and Mrs. Rose Jessup.
